By: Jenn

Board Model and Year: BitchBoards® Mode 2009

Board Size: 144

Age: 26

Riding Style: All mountain- some park

I’ve been riding for 5 years and was a Burton-snob, so I was pretty skeptical of the board’s ability. liquid-force-watson

Back for another season is the Liquid Force Watson Wakeboard.  The creation of pro rider Sean Watson, this is a high performance, snappy board that maintains a smooth feel through all kinds of water.  The board features a 2-ply carbon X configuration which increases rigidity through the center of the board.  The Watson is available in 4 sizes: 130, 134,138, and 142.
Additional features of the Liquid Force Watson including the following:

  • Aggressive, 3 Stage Rocker – Hard hitting pop that boost you straight up. Truly compliments to wake to wake rider
  • Spiral “V” w/ Double Concave Mid Section – Breaks the water for soft landings. Initiates and rails into turns quicker and easier
  • Crisp Molded in Fins – More defined, shorter base molded in side fins provide positive control without catching too soon. Load these up and push as hard as you want. Fast, loose, and have the holding power to carve like mad
  • Lifted Variable Edge
  • Quad Vented Channels – Placed between the molded fins to vent water through the tip. The water skips over these channels to give lift without disrupting water flow around the fins. Helps generates speed while keeping you painted in the right direction

Bottom Line:  Solid Board, designed for advanced riders, but suitable for the recreational rider as well.
