liquid-force-watson

Back for another season is the Liquid Force Watson Wakeboard.  The creation of pro rider Sean Watson, this is a high performance, snappy board that maintains a smooth feel through all kinds of water.  The board features a 2-ply carbon X configuration which increases rigidity through the center of the board.  The Watson is available in 4 sizes: 130, 134,138, and 142.
Additional features of the Liquid Force Watson including the following:

  • Aggressive, 3 Stage Rocker – Hard hitting pop that boost you straight up. Truly compliments to wake to wake rider
  • Spiral “V” w/ Double Concave Mid Section – Breaks the water for soft landings. Initiates and rails into turns quicker and easier
  • Crisp Molded in Fins – More defined, shorter base molded in side fins provide positive control without catching too soon. Load these up and push as hard as you want. Fast, loose, and have the holding power to carve like mad
  • Lifted Variable Edge
  • Quad Vented Channels – Placed between the molded fins to vent water through the tip. The water skips over these channels to give lift without disrupting water flow around the fins. Helps generates speed while keeping you painted in the right direction

Bottom Line:  Solid Board, designed for advanced riders, but suitable for the recreational rider as well.

liquid-force-groove
New for the 2009 season is the Liquid Force Groove Wakeboard.  The Liquid Force Groove is Collin Harrington’s first signature board, and his experience on the surf has been reflected in a beautifully crafted wakeboard.  Designed for all conditions, the Groove can handle whatever is thrown at it; glassy water, rough chop, big wakes or small.  Collin pushed the the designers at Liquid Force to create a board with an ultra thin tip and a smooth continuous curve.  Board graphics are marginal, however given the incredibly smooth lines on this lines we’re not complaining.

Key Feaatures of the Liquid Force Groove include the following:

  • Progressive Continuous Rocker
  • Double to Quad Concave Hull Configuration – DISC Through Midsection into Quad V Concave Out the Tail – Concaves for lift combined with V for quicker turning
  • Winged Scalloped Tail Outline – Full shape with release at all wings – Allows rider to shorten the arc of his turn off the wing for slaying
  • Molded Quad Plus ONE Fin Setup – Long, warped sides with shallow inside fin set – Outside fins for rail hold combines with inside to control the thrust through the dual concaves
  • Center Keel – Center keel keeps water running through concave out the tip without getting too loose
  • Variable Edge Rails

Sizes: 134, 138 & 142

Bottom Line:  Watch out for the Collin Harrington line of wakeboards to become the stardard by which other boards live.
