I purchased the Bullet with Burton Custom bindings this week and ran it today at Mt. St. Louis Moonstone in Ontario Canada.
The board is light and highly responsive. I could not believe how easy it was to turn this board. It definately felt like an advanced board and I will have to step up my abilities to get the most out of it. I ran it over soft powder and hard packed/semi ice. The board stayed true in both cases.
I really enjoyed sending the board straight down while rocking the board from left to right to left. This allowed me to maintain complete control while rocketing down the mountain.
I have yet to figure out the cruise control feature but I know it is there.
I did not install a stomp pad to see how it did. I found the glossy surface slippary and would suggest that new riders install something so that the don’t wipe out everyone on a 6-person ski lift exit. I managed just fine and will not be installing one.
I also checked out the bottom of the board at the end of the day and I was pleased to see that there were no gashes or scrapes.
I give it a 5 out of 5. Well done Burton.
I can’t wait to get out again on it. Cheers.
